Spectroline is the specialist leak detection brand of Spectronics Corporation, the American company that introduced ultraviolet (UV) fluorescent leak detection technology in 1955. ILS now stocks the Spectroline range for customers throughout New Zealand.

Simply add a small amount of Spectroline fluorescent leak detection dye to the system, allow it to circulate, then inspect with a UV or violet lamp. Leaks become clearly visible at the exact point where fluid is escaping, making even hard-to-find leaks easy to pinpoint without the guesswork.

The range includes leak detection dyes for hydraulic, compressor, engine and gear oils, as well as water/glycol coolants. Different dye colours allow individual systems to be easily identified, while the dyes are filtered to 2 microns, NSF registered and designed to remain safely in the fluid.
