Industrial Lubricants and Services is proud to have achieved SiteWise Green for 2025/26, recognising our focus on strong health and safety management across New Zealand. SiteWise is a national prequalification system that independently assesses contractors’ health and safety practices. Achieving Green status demonstrates that ILS has effective systems in place to protect our people, our customers, and our partners.

With over 10,000 SiteWise members, this certification is widely recognised and trusted throughout New Zealand industries.

 

What SiteWise Green Means

 SiteWise Green is awarded to businesses that meet a strong level of compliance across key areas of health and safety, including:

• Health & Safety Policy – Clear leadership commitment to safe practices.
• Risk & Hazard Management – Identifying, assessing, and controlling risks on site.
• Worker Engagement – Making sure our team is trained, informed, and part of the safety process.
• Incident Management – Recording, reporting, and learning from incidents to stop them happening again.
• Emergency Preparedness – Having the right plans and resources ready if something goes wrong.
• Monitoring & Continuous Improvement – Regularly reviewing systems to keep lifting the standard.

All contractors who join the SiteWise system complete an annual health and safety assessment, with the goal of achieving SiteWise Green.

 

How ILS Achieved SiteWise Green

The certification process involved a full review of our health and safety procedures against SiteWise’s independent assessment criteria. A Green grading means achieving 75% or above in the annual assessment, proving that our systems are consistent, reliable, and aligned with recognised industry standards.

In the 2025/26 assessment, ILS achieved 89%, giving our customers confidence that we continue to have a strong safety framework in place.
