This yellow fluro dye from Spectroline’s OIL-GLO ULTRA range fluoresces a clean, bright yellow under a UV (365 nm) lamp. It is a straightforward choice for oil-based systems and a useful extra colour where a site is coding several systems on the same machine or line.

Use it in mineral or synthetic hydraulic fluids, compressor oils, engine oils and gearbox oils. Once the dye has circulated, scan the equipment with a UV lamp and any leak glows at its exact source, even through dirt and existing oil film.

Yellow is designed for UV lamps. If you use a violet light, choose green or yellow/green instead. Filtered to 2 microns, co-solvent free and NSF registered. UV-absorbing safety glasses are required.
