This yellow/green fluro dye from Spectroline’s OIL-GLO ULTRA range is the most versatile dye we stock, and the one we recommend if you only want to buy one colour. It glows bright yellow/green under both UV (365 nm) and violet (400 nm) lamps, and it is the only oil dye in the range also rated for petrol and diesel fuel systems.

Use it in mineral or synthetic hydraulic fluids, compressor oils, engine oils and gearbox oils. Once the dye has circulated, scan the equipment with a leak detection lamp and any leak glows at its exact source.

One 473 mL bottle treats around 470 L of light hydraulic oil, with higher dose rates for darker oils, engine and gear oils. Full dose rates are on the TDS.
